ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – Today, the California Women’s Leadership Association Political Action Committee (CWLA PAC) announced their official endorsement of Dr. Alexandria Coronado in her campaign for the 65th Assembly District. Dr. Coronado’s deep community roots and local public service experience has been a successful positive driving force in this campaign.

“As a working mother and business owner, Dr. Coronado is a role model in her community. She represents the values of empowerment and leadership that our organization embodies,” said CWLA PAC Executive Director Ashley Hayek. “We are proud to support Dr. Coronado and her campaign for Assembly.”

“I am honored to receive the California Women’s Leadership Association PAC endorsement,” said Dr. Coronado. “Throughout my time in public service I have been a fierce advocate for individual freedom, free market principles, and making pathways to support strong, smart, and well-rounded women. I was the first Hispanic woman elected to the Anaheim Union High School District Board of Trustees and I plan to help other qualified and exemplary women break through the rest of the ‘firsts,’ until there are no more to break.”

Dr. Coronado has received endorsements from highly influential leaders and organizations such as but not limited to; State Senator John Moorlach, OC Board of Education Member Dr. Ken Williams, OC Supervisor Michelle Steel, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, former Assemblywoman Young Kim, Assemblyman Matthew Harper, Congressman Ed Royce, and the Orange County Republican Party. Her longevity of community involvement and public service includes being a former two-time President on the Orange County Board of Education and a former Member of the Council of Urban Boards of Education Board of Directors. In addition, she has served as Treasurer for the University of Southern California’s Thornton Alumni Association and was elected as a Trustee on the Anaheim Union High School District Board. As a single mother and small business owner, Dr. Coronado is committed to providing opportunities for the future of California’s 65th District and protecting those constituents Sacramento has put at a disadvantage.
