Rohrabacher Endorses Coronado for 65th Assembly Seat

(Huntington Beach, CA)- Today, fifteen-term Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has announced his support for Dr. Alexandria Coronado’s campaign for California’s 65th Assembly District. Rohrabacher, a senior member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Vice Chairman of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, is the latest policymaker to announce support for Dr. Coronado.

Congressman Rohrabacher stated, “I know that Dr. Coronado will be an excellent choice to represent the 65th Assembly district. She will play Sacramento like she plays the piano keys – technically adept and heartfelt.”

Congressman Rohrabacher represents the 48th Congressional District which stretches along the Pacific Coastline of Orange County, CA. First elected in 1988, Congressman Rohrabacher is a member of the House Committees on Science, Space, and Technology and Foreign Affairs, and chairs the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats, where he has been an open advocate for human rights and strong supporter for our national space program.

This valued endorsement follows that of Assemblyman Matthew Harper, State Senator John Moorlach, former Assemblywoman Young Kim, and the Orange County Republican Party. Dr. Alexandria Coronado is the former President of the Orange County Board of Education. Dr. Alex Coronado is the former President of the Orange County Board of Education. She served as Treasurer for the University of Southern California’s Thornton Alumni Association.
