Senator Moorlach Endorses Dr. Coronado for 65th Assembly District

(Cypress, CA) – State Senator John Moorlach recently announced his endorsement of Dr. Alexandria Coronado for the 65th State Assembly District. Dr. Coronado is a tenacious and compassionate leader in her community, and Senator Moorlach feels her leadership will be better for the people of the 65th District.

“Alexandria Coronado is a proven leader who has successfully served our community on an important School District Board of Trustees and on the Orange County Department of Education Board of Trustees. She knows Orange County and will represent it well in Sacramento as your next Assemblywoman. I look forward to working with her.” said Senator John Moorlach.

John M. W. Moorlach is a strong and respected leader within the county and state, he represents California as a State Senator in the 37th Senate district, which includes portions of Orange County. He also previously served on the Orange County Board of Supervisors and was the Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector.

“I was born and raised here in the 65th Assembly District. This is my home and I have worked hard to ensure leaders in Orange County are held accountable,” said Dr. Coronado. “I am privileged to have the support of Senator Moorlach, who championed government transparency and responsibility. I believe these are essential foundations for any representative and are severely lacking from the current representative, Sharon Quirk Silva.”

This valued endorsement follows many other important community leader endorsements such as but not limited to; the California Republican Assembly, Supervisor Michelle Steel, and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. Dr. Alexandria Coronado is the former President of the Orange County Board of Education. She served as Treasurer for the University of Southern California’s Thornton Alumni Association. As a former Member of the Council of Urban Boards of Education Board of Directors, Dr. Coronado is committed to providing opportunities for the future of California’s 65th District.
