(Orange County, CA) – Today, Assembly Candidate Dr. Alexandria Coronado has received an official endorsement from Young Kim, a devoted community leader in North Orange County. With a proven track record of commitment to improving educational opportunities, Kim enthusiastically affirms Dr. Alexandria Coronado for the 65th Assembly District. Unlike current Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva, Dr. Coronado will provide the utmost service in advancing and prospering her district.
“As a former School Board Member, I know Dr. Alexandria Coronado will apply her knowledge of education issues in the service of her constituents,” said Kim. “In Sacramento, her skills, determination, and overall dedication, will serve her and the people of the 65th Assembly District well.”
As an immigrant to the United States, Young Kim’s public service started more than 25 years ago and in 2014 she was elected to the 65th District of the California State Assembly and is currently a top candidate for the 39th Congressional District representing areas including Fullerton and Buena Park. She is a small business owner and serves on the Board of Directors of numerous local non-profit organizations.
“I will tirelessly work to attain the best approach to the education system for our younger generations, because I believe we can provide real solutions to today’s challenges,” said Dr. Coronado. “For this reason, I am truly grateful for the support of Young Kim as she exemplifies, through her lifestyle and work ethic, the unyielding responsibility of serving the community at large.”
This valued endorsement follows that of Assemblyman Matthew Harper and the Orange County Republican Party. Dr. Alexandria Coronado is the former President of the Orange County Board of Education. She served as Treasurer for the University of Southern California’s Thornton Alumni Association. As a former Member of the Council of Urban Boards of Education Board of Directors, Dr. Coronado is committed to providing opportunities for the future of California’s 65th District.
